Anna And Her Shoes

While perusing photos from London and New York Fashion Weeks, I couldn’t help but notice that Anna Wintour always seems to wear the same shoes.

Looking back, she has been gracing the front rows in, Manolo Blahnik’s nude kitten heel sandals for many years and they have become part of her signature style.

One can’t help but wonder why the queen of the fashion world wouldn’t try something new? Surely the editor of Vogue can have her pick?

Well it seems the journalist behind this article has been wondering the same.

It appears that Manolo Blahnik has a mould of Anna’s fashionable foot and crafts her shoes to fit her perfectly, so her tootsies are always comfy. Also, Anna apparently argues that nude goes with everything.  And as the journalist points out, our favorite style duchess, Kate Middleton, is a big fan of a nude shoe, but seems to prefer a court style, especially L K Bennett’s Sledge shoes.

Who are we to argue with such fashion royalty?
